BASIC INFORMATION
Accessibility: The village of Börzönce is located in the southern part of Zala county, west of Zalaszentbalázs, among huge forests.
The Kürtősi Creek flows through the village. The village, situated among breathtakingly beautiful hills and scenery, was hardly accessible until 1967, when a paved road was built. Now it is accessible by main road No. 74, through Zalaszentbalázs.

Characteristics: The village, the name of which was first mentioned in written documents in 1234, has been populated since ancient times. In the 1570s the village became desolate, it was repopulated only in the 1740s.
The soil was of poor quality. In the early 19th century the main source of income was the production of grapes. At present 80% of the roads are paved, 24 of the households have a telephone. There is a library in the village.
